“Air Cover PR – your reputational wingman”
“Air cover” is the use of military aircraft to support naval or ground forces. Today, air superiority is regarded as an absolute necessity in campaigns. Air cover is a military term and we know that’s not everyone’s cup of tea – but it’s a bit of poetic license (and the military analogy didn’t do McKinsey any harm, with the War for Talent, did it?).
While the support we give our clients isn’t military – it’s comms – it is both tactical and strategic. What’s more, it’s provided by consultants with plenty of flying hours under their belts. Think of Air Cover PR as your reputational wingman. To push the analogy to breaking point, hire us to skipper your comms and your marketing team will never have to fly solo again.
In the theatre of war that is business, we offer your ‘forces on the ground’ reputational air cover.
Your Business Development Managers (BDMs); your enthusiastic sales team; and your carefully primed marketing plan, will never have to launch an advance in your industry ‘cold’ or alone.
Because Air Cover PR will help give your next marketing campaign wings:
- Parachute us in and we’ll help blitz your brand awareness.
- Pranged your reputation? We’ll help your key messages take flight.
- Flying blind? Air Cover PR will ensure you are positioned as a ‘voice of authority’ in your field.
- Taking some flak? We’ll carpet bomb the news media, and dilute the reputational damage the original story caused.
We adore our logo, and we’re proud of it too.
We are aware that not everyone is as passionate as we are about aeroplanes. But bear with us, because it’s no accident that de Havilland DH.98 Mosquito is the basis of our brand.
Crisis Management
Isn’t it beautiful? The Mosquito was designed and built in the midst of a crisis – the Second World War. It was innovative, effective, and made great use of the limited resources available to the RAF at the time; by 1941, it was one of the fastest operational aircraft in the world. It was flexible, too.
It flew as an unarmed fast bomber, a photo-reconnaissance aircraft, a fighter, a low-to medium-altitude daytime tactical bomber, a pathfinder, a high-altitude night bomber, an intruder, a fighter-bomber, a maritime strike aircraft, and a night fighter. To top it all off, my grandfather, Ron Hawley, a draftsman during the war, was involved in its design.
How will Air Cover’s “Mosquito” approach benefit your business?
Just like a Mosquito night fighter, Air Cover PR can protect you. Just like the Mosquito’s design, Air Cover PR doesn’t waste time or money. Just like a Mosquito, we can also go on the offensive on your brand’s behalf. We’re the versatile ally you need to succeed.
